Hurdy-Gurdy By Pouget modèl no 2 Year 1878
Jean-Emile Pouget born in 1835, son of Pierre Pouget naturally took his succession Taking again the paternal techniques, it developed a model of hurdy-gurdy to the pleasant sound, mixes between the low registers and the acute ones. Pouget obtained many rewards naturally: Bronze medal in Chateauroux in 1874, Money medal with Castrates in 1875, Money medal “great model” in Chateauroux in 1888, Medal of vermeil in 1896 to the exposure of decorative arts of Chateauroux and especially special mention with the World Fair of 1878.
Alas, although its catalogue was complete, it never met great customers And it is in misery that it died on November 28th, 1905.
